On the Monday after the Indy 500, I can't do anything productive because I'm so depressed that it's over, and it will be a whole year before I can go back. But Tuesday morning, after I dragged my miserable ass out of bed, I spent a great deal of time transferring last week's scores from the GLG app (thank you Jacob for covering for me!!!) to my spreadsheets and reconciling everything so they match. For the sake of full disclosure, this whole process of using the app has created a whole list of very ticky-tacky rule changes we've had to make with how we keep score, and therefore with the formulas in my spreadsheet that I wrote 14 years ago and have long forgotten exactly what and why they are calculating. That's what's taking me the most time right now; tracking down why the two systems don't match and fixing those discrepancies. I will document all of these changes in a future post, but for now, I think everything is matching and up to date.
